Travel

By Air

Qantas and Virgin Blue fly direct to Rockhampton from Sydney and Brisbane daily. If you are travelling from other major cities throughout Australia or from overseas please click on their links to view flight schedules.

Shuttle buses run from Rockhampton to the Capricorn Coast or arrangements can be made to meet you at the airport. (Arrangements must be made when booking your Kayak Adventure)

By Road

If you’re driving take Route 1 along the national highway north from Brisbane or south from Mackay until you reach Rockhampton in Central Queensland. You can either stay in Rockhampton or follow the signs to Yeppoon on the Capricorn Coast.

Regular coach services and a daily tilt train travel to Rockhampton from Brisbane.

Rockhampton is the gateway to Great Keppel Island and ferries depart daily from Rosslyn Bay.
