‘ SURVIVOR’ GREAT KEPPEL ISLAND

The best way to explore one of the most pristine island national parks in the Great Barrier Reef in your own single or double sea kayak and see the reef at it’s best in your own time. Humpy Island lies adjacent to Great Keppel Island only a ½ hour ferry ride from Yeppoon in Central Queensland and is a sea kayaking paradise.

Sea kayaking is all about the journey.
On trips we have been visited by dolphins and found seahorses floating in the seaweed.

The paddle to Humpy Island passes the southern beaches and reefs of Great Keppel Island and across the open water to Humpy Is. There are many opportunities to come across the wildlife such as Turtles and Ospreys. Find out why Monkey Point got its name.
